  19.      You can get your 4000 and your 486(s) talking together by installing 
  20.      TCP/IP.. This way you could use ScreamerNET 1 to render on all the 
  21.      486's from your Amiga... The software that you need for your Amiga is 
  22.      AMITCP/IP 3.x or above.. They are currently on 4.0... I think that the 
  23.      Fred Fish CD's has the shareware version.. 
  24.       Also once you have setup tcp/ip between your machines, you could use 
  25.      NFS to see the hard drives of the 486's on your amiga and your amiga 
  26.      drives on the PC... Also ScreamerNET 2 can work with NFS.. (NFS is 
  27.      what the UNIX world uses for a Network)..

  29.       If you can't find the software just let me know.. I think I have 4.0 
  30.      shareware here at work..

  32.       I know this works because I have my Amiga connected to everything 
  33.      here at work.. I even have the drives of the SGI's sitting on my 
  34.      workbench... You can't even tell that the drive is on another 
  35.      machine.. Totally seamless with the O/S... I think you like it... 
  36.      Setting it up is not difficult at all...

  57. I'm sure this has been discussed greatly on this list but I have not had 
  58. time to read everything posted here for awhile.  Any way here are a few 
  59. networkquestions I need help with:

  61. 1. I have a 4000 and a 486 with lightwave.  I also have access to 4 other 486
  62.    machines that are networked.  Can I use screamer net to render with all 
  63.    these machines and send that to my Flyer on the 4000.
  64.      
  65. 2. I have 2 EB920 ASDG Ethernet cards for the Amiga.  Can I network it to my
  66.    486's using the SANA II software.  If so what can be shared between the 
  67.    two systems.

  69. 3. If the answer is yes to 1 & 2 can anyone give me any help on how to do it.
